Ayşe Doğrubak
Ayşe Doğrubak, a graduate of Middle East Technical University's Elementary Science Education program in 2015, pursued a master's degree in Science and Mathematics Education, specializing in Education for Environment and Sustainable Development research, which she completed in 2017. During this time, she worked as a project assistant on a study exploring sustainable diets and teacher candidates' internal locus of control. In 2019, Doğrubak furthered her expertise by completing the Rainwater Harvesting for Land Ecological Restoration training at the University of Florence through a distance education program. Between 2018 and 2024, she worked as a Project Coordinator for the Rainwater Harvesting, Better Cotton, Composting, and No-till Agriculture projects in the Food and Agriculture program at WWF-Turkey and has also served as the Education and Innovation coordinator in the WWF-Turkey Freshwater and Food program. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the School of Sustainability, Sustainability Education and Transdisciplinary Research Institute at Leuphana University. Her research focuses on education for sustainable development and environmental education within the context of food systems. Specifically, she examines sustainability learning and communication, as well as sustainable and regenerative agriculture extension for stakeholders in the food and agricultural sectors.
