Jorrit Holst ist Nachhaltigkeitsforscher am Institut Futur der Freien Universität Berlin und externer Doktorand an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Seine Forschung untersucht die systemische Verankerung und Praxis von Nachhaltigkeit in der Bildung.
Jorrit Holst ist Nachhaltigkeitsforscher am Institut Futur der Freien Universität Berlin und externer Doktorand an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Seine Forschung liegt an der Schnittstelle von Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaft, empirischer Sozialwissenschaft und Erziehungswissenschaft und untersucht die systemische Verankerung und Praxis von Nachhaltigkeit in der Bildung. Mit methodischem Schwerpunkt auf Indikatorentwicklung und Large-Scale-Assessments hat er zuletzt zur politischen Verankerung von Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) im Sinne des SDG 4.7, zur Messbarkeit und Wirksamkeit von Whole-Institution-Ansätzen sowie zu kulturellen Verschiebungen und Transformationspfaden in Bildungssystemen publiziert. Als Teil des deutschen Nationalen BNE-Monitorings unter Leitung von Prof. Dr. Gerhard de Haan trägt seine Arbeit zur wissenschaftlichen Begleitung des UNESCO-Programms „ESD for 2030" in Deutschland bei.
