We are pleased to share that Prof. Dr. Harald Hantke, Co-Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair in Higher Education for Sustainable Development at Leuphana University, has been re-elected as a board member of the Association for Socio-Economic Education and Research (ASEER).
The ASEER brings together scholars and educators to promote interdisciplinary and pluralistic approaches to socio-economic education and research, integrating perspectives from business, political, and social sciences to address complex societal challenges.
Reflecting on his re-election, Harald shared:
“I am honoured to have been re-elected to the board of the Association for Socio-Economic Education and Research (ASEER) at the recent annual conference in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. During this election period, I would like to contribute the international perspectives of the UNESCO Chair in Higher Education for Sustainable Development to the academic discourse on socio-economic education and research — and also the other way round. Because the goals of the ASEER, which are to bring together academic exchange on interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, pluralistic, and problem-oriented education and research, correspond very well with those of our UNESCO Chair.”
We warmly congratulate Harald on his re-election and look forward to potential synergies between the ASEER and our UNESCO Chair in Higher Education for Sustainable Development.
